iTradeNetwork announces 5-year contracts with Coors and Scottish & Newcastle
PLEASANTON, CA. - October 30, 2008
iTradeNetwork (ITN), the leading global provider of on-demand supply chain management and intelligence solutions to the food industry (who recently acquired Amphire), today has won two major new customer contracts – Coors and Scottish & Newcastle.
“These contracts demonstrate the confidence with which barbox’s previous owners view the future as they have come to know ITN. These deals are great for all involved. We are very pleased to be working with both Scottish and Newcastle UK and Coors to deliver transactional services and help them to build their online presence for the licensed trade,” says Liam Taylor, COO of iTradeNetwork International.
Steve Ellis, Coors Brewers, said: “This contract is a significant commitment to work together to ensure the service we offer our customers is second to none. We have already achieved significant results online, but believe the best is yet to come”.
Scottish & Newcastle UK are also pleased with the new arrangements. Lawson Mount-Stevens, head of the company’s Free Trade business, comments that “the Internet is a powerful tool that is now widely used in the licensed trade. The ITN/barbox site allows our customers to order online at their convenience and we will use it as a platform to develop additional benefits and services in the near future. We want to make sure we are making the most of this opportunity, and we are confident that we have the right partner to ensure this is the case.”
