Data Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Data Manager I (DM-I) position will serve as a liaison between ITN's data providers, PSO, Account Management, System Support and Operations teams. The position is responsible for supporting client integrations with all data providers in the ITN data source network. The DM-I is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of technical and business relationships within the data provider organizations. The DM-I also manages the day-to-day relationships and issue resolution with data providers and clients when issues cannot be resolved internally. Responsibilities for this position are applicable to all Operator and Manufacturer Spend, Inventory Management, Purchasing and Supplier Invoicing data, data connections, applications and issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with data providers, clients and vendors.
  • Timely and accurate analysis, responsiveness and follow through to resolution for internally and externally (Client or data provider) identified data issues.
  • Resolving data related problems with regard to file specifications, file failures, data quality and quantity, timing and completeness of client data.
  • Manage relationship with outside vendor to ensure Data Entry files are processed correctly and completed on time to meet client obligations
  • Perform manual retrieval of data files hosted on websites
  • Manage Excel data file processing for Operator Rebate clients to ensure all file received are processed and failures are resolved with clients and data providers within defined timelines.
  • Perform internet research to determine account classifications and product information
  • Standardizing and enrichment of account and product data
  • Work with team to continually redesign, improve and document departmental processes.
  • Participate in other project or perform tasks as directed by department management

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skill are a must
  • Two years experience in fast paced support or administration role performing multiple functions
  • Personality to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with outside companies
  • Process focus coupled with strong analytical research, problem solving skills and the organizational ability to create order from chaos.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in escalated conversations
  • Creative problem solver who can follow processes, but also can see ways to constantly improve them
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Individual must have proven ability to manage multiple assignments or projects on an aggressive timeline including tracking and reporting status regularly.
  • Experience using MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and Internet Search engines required
  • Experience using software tools such as PLSQL and MS Access a plus

Experience Required:

5 years work experience in Customer or Office Administration Support.
Bachelors Degree in Business or related discipline a plus

Must have unrestricted ability to work in the United States.
